Achilles’ Long Journey

It is almost impossible to record the course of so many people in a country rent by civil war or through alien territories; people who were forced to settle in places that eventually became their second homeland. Yet their prime one didn’t just stay in the subconscious; though unfeeling, it was everywhere present…

How could it possibly be otherwise? After a time the Odyssey is bound to end. Yet the tracks will be indelibly seared in the people’s memory like holocaust ciphers, or-like in the Greek tragedy- the stains of blood of a whole people who forget as easily as it flare up. It would be nothing short of a blessing that this cycle would end here, even if its last victims were utterly useless. ς.
